Going for the 2006 Pontiac GTO, plus I just love the way a V8 feel. My infiniti M45 has a V8 with 340hp and I miss it, my wife drives the Infiniti

I test drove the GTO 6.0l and was disappointed. Diffently happier with the Z over the GTO.

I trade-in a 2001 M3 for a 2003 350Z Touring model a few years back. The Z was great but it will kill your back if you take a long drive like I did. From Atlanta to Miami. That's why I sold it it and bought the 03 Infiniti M45. What made you feel disappointed with the GTO?

Thanks for the info on the Z. Wife and I have a SUV for travling. As far as the GTO I didn't think it felt like a 400hp car. Plus it just seemed cheap. Just my 2 cents. Go test drive it though.

The 06's won't be out until December. I will wait until then to test drive one.

I like the GTO, but you are right, they are kind of weak unless it's the 6 speed. The M3, however, is better once you drive the E46. I drive them all the time at my work and have never been disappointed.

I agree...two words: General Motors. I do like the 04 GTO's; however, because I like the flat hood (to be replaced later) and the single-outlet dual-tip exhaust (for a DTM set-up later) and the 5.7 LS1 is a great engine to modify...past that...I look past GM because they don't impress me...

I removed all mods except for the walbro and Perrin catch can which I'll do sometime this week. I am back to stock and I feel as slow as a turtle. The stock cat-back is the real part that is so restrictive. I got a 3 month wait riding a turtle
