WTB Tien Basics....

Anyone have some Tien Basics they are wanting to get rid of? I'm looking to ditch my S-Tech's and just get a simple coilover package to adjust the ride height.

Spend the extra and get the flex's or SS. Basics are not threaded throughout and really hard to adjust.

What do you mean not thread thoughout? From the pictures, they look like normal coilovers without the damper adjustment. I won't be adjusting them anyways. I'll have my car corner balanced, aligned, and ride height adjusted by a local shop anyways.

Thanks....anyone have some used SS's for sale too?

What the hell are you talking about? They are threaded, and there not hard to adjust at all, Clown.

Dont listen to him, The SS and the Basic are the same strut and have the have Spring rate. the main differance between them is that the SS has the Adjust damper, Which is cool, but the Basics ride better than the stocker anyday. so that would be the same as the SS's

The Flex's are A Nasty Setup, beleive they are 8k front 10k rear
but may not be what your looking for, in my own opinion, i think some of these guys that spend 2k plus on coilovers are nuts your never going to get the full use out of the suspension on the street ( Without breaking any Laws that is)

I have the Basics and havent had a problem since. I live in Boston, So theres moon crater sized pot holes around here. So thats why i chose the basics.
