I seen some notes saying slight modification required. What exactly do you need to mod?

 

The included instructions say "modification to the undercover: cooling effect can be improved by cutting out the shaded area of the under cover". Then it goes on to show a small area where you can notch it out but it doesn't really say if you have to do it. Either way these are still available. Let me know.
