I can only find aftermarket ones online and I don't need CF or billet, just a replacement for my cracked stocker.

For the sake of price, I'd prefer a stock IX cover, but I guess if you've got a cheap aftermarket cover, I'd be open to it. I'd prefer no logos, engraving, etc etc-- I want to shave it and paint it Satin Black anyway.

I did and posted both on the same day, actually. scheides said he'd sell me his.

Rosey on EvoMN actually reminded me I'm still in warranty and this is replaceable under warranty. He said he's done it twice without issue.

I might try that this weekend and if it doesn't work out, I'll get back to people about their offers. But I'm tempted to buy one anyway just to have a backup if my shaving attempt goes to crap.
