which part is the compressor? i have the whole ac system

 

the shop told me that i need to replace the whole ac compressor unit. my car runs however when i turn on the defrost or ac the car bogs down and rpms drops to almost a stall. so im not sure if i ineed the whole ac compressor unit or could it be just the clutch
