I just bought a set of stock rims for my EVO w/300 miles on them brand new basically. I am going to pick up the Blizzak WS-50 tires for here in Minnesota. I had a set of them on my 2003 Mazdaspeed Protege w/black steel wheels and they were great in the winter. I can only imagine with AWD how good they will be.

 

I'm sure that'll make a real good setup for the winter. I'm still debating whether to pick up winter rims to go along with the tires or not. If i can't find any low mile winter tires here, I think i'm going to try the hankook w300's. For the price they seem pretty good, and the awd will be a big improvement over the trans am in the snow i'm sure.
