Exclamation FS: Bridgestone Potenza RE050A Pole Position

These 235/45-17 Bridgestone Potenza RE050A Pole Position's were on my girl friends MR for less than 2 months. We estimate that she put 2000-3000 miles on them and there really is no wear, pretty close to BRAND NEW. She doen't drive hard or really fast for that matter. The suspension was stock at the time so there is no un-even wear as well.

Tire Rack has them for sale at $177 each or $708 for the four plus shipping.

She is asking $500.

Under the pics are some reviews.

2006 Subaru Impreza WRX STI:

I bought these tires based on the recommendations of viewers like you. I drove through the OE Bridgestone RE070 on my STI in just under 16000m. I was already on cords at the inner edge. I never expected that the tires I was buying to UPGRADE the performance from my RE070s would actually last longer!!!
The first thing I immediately noticed after purchasing these tires is how much quieter they are than other performance tires. Compared to the RE070, the Kumho 712, Ecsta MX, and Eagle F1s, the RE050A Pole Position is QUIET. I was very enthusuastic about the reduction in noise from the tread and I drive on coil-overs which transmit EVERYTHING.
For the first 400 miles the tires retain a little greasiness, but after that they became like glue. Granted my car is AWD, I have still not found a reasonable limit to the RE050A PP traction. In the wet, they inspire confidence and fulfill your expectations without surprise. When driving at the limit, these tires are responsive and handle all inputs (smooth and abrupt) without ever losing control. As I said, I never expected my upgrade to last and budgetted accordingly. I originally expected to have to buy new tires 1000 miles ago. After 16k miles I am still driving on tires that have 1/4 of their tread left!!! The performance level these tires gave after 600 miles has been consistent thus far and has yet to wane. I NOW expect to reach 19k-20k miles on these tires!
I completely and whole heartedly stand behind the RE050A Pole Position, specifically for the application of AWD Turbo cars. They last surprisingly long. They handle superbly in the wet and dry. Turn-in and steady state cornering are excellent. And they are remarkably quiet for their class. I WILL replace them with the same tire.

1994 Toyota Supra Turbo:

Like it says above, my driving is very spirited. I need a tire that sticks very well, and this is a tire that does it. Toyota Supras aren't known for their great grip to the ground, but I struggle to lose grip in these tires. They stick in every gear, and they stick straight from a dig as well. I just took the car out for the first time since winter and it was around 26 degrees, but once the tires were warmed up, I couldn't lose grip. I currently have around 350hp in the car so you get the idea. I never notice any road noise, and I generally drive with no music. I love listening to the sound of the car! I love these tires. I have used Kumho Ecsta Supras on this car as well. The Kumho's had much less grip in both wet and dry. I could easily make the car lose traction. I also got a lot of wheel spin when the turbos hit full boost in first and when shifting from first to second. I will definitely be buying the Potenzas again when I need new tires.

If only they were all season... I need to get new tires but the Evo is a daily driver and I need all seasons to last through winter. Went through winter with the stock Advans last time and that was pretty scary at times.

Bumps to you.
