im toying with the idea of letting my stock Rx7 wheels go. I never run them on my FD and they basically just sit in the shop. I know a lot of guys on here run them and would put them to good use. I would be looking for $500 pickup without any tires. They are rattle can painted black, so the finish isnt great, but it doesnt look to bad.

at 16x8, they'll clear the brake calipers?

That i dont know. I think i remember reading that you have to run small calipers or something. That will be for the buyer to look into before they purchase.
