how much spacer would you guess to fit the oem strut?

It would depend on the tire size you're going to run. The inboard clearance is similar to an 18x9.5 +36 wheel, but since that isn't a common size, another way of seeing it is it's in between 18x9.5 +35 and 18x9.5 +38. I posted a question in the wheel/tire fitment thread, and will confirm here.
I've ran 18x9.5 +28MM with 265/35's with no spacers on OEM struts. It's been a long time since I've ran that so I don't remember how much room there was inboard-wise. Hopefully, that will give you an idea for clearance.
As for the price, it is not firm. I will work with you, especially since you'll be driving down.
