I have a stock, unmolested EVO 8 head for sale with about 13,000 miles on it. I bought it from another EVOM member as I had plans for a port and polish/ valves, etc. However, at this point and time I'm going to enjoy the car in stock form for a while longer.
Head appears to be in excellent shape. Casting is good, much smoother than others I have seen. No damage noted. The head DOES NOT have the lifters, or rockers. Cams are out, but you can have these with the purchase if you so desire.
I would recommend that the head be cleaned by a machine shop as I can see some dust in the inside from sitting(It is in plastic, but something always works its way in) All cam caps and bolts are in the proper spaces. This is perfect for those of you looking to build a head with zero downtime
