FORSALE: PocketLogger

Selling my OBDII pocketlogger -

you can read all about it at www.digitaltuning.com...it will work on lots of post-1996 cars including the Evo and Lancer. you can buy the pocketlogger software and cable for $125 on-line. for just $25 more, I will send you a Handspring Visor Prism (a color palm-pilot) with the software pre-installed. The palm will come with some installed games and the COM dock. included as well will be the mobile cable to use with the OBD connector. the connector has one clasp broken but doesn't affect the connection at all.

more about the pocketlogger... you can view/clear codes with it...here is my Evo throwing a P0420 before i cleared it with the pocketlogger

and this picture is mere seconds later, after i've cleared the code...
AMAZING...but wait, there's MORE!!!!

the pocketlogger also allows you to datalog up to 12 parameters. here's an extra busy screenshot showing all of the parameters that the PL can log on the evo

or, with 4 or less parameters logged, you get BIG NUMBER MODE...

you can also graph up to 12 parameters at once and the datalogging function displays the saved data on a graph

you can view the logs on your computer with a FREE downloadable viewer.
for the buyer, ill also include two (2) registration codes and a hardcopy of the software and viewer.

all this for $150 shipped in the continental US....outside the US $145 + shipping...picked up (between worcester and framingham MA) for $145

check my feedback and feel safe buying from me.

what's the disadvantage of using this to read afrs vs a wideband btw? besides this reads in volts and a wideband reads in afrs. thanks

it plugs into the OBDII port, just to the right of your right knee when you drive

as far as volts/AFRs. this reads the stock (narrowband) O2 sensors not a 5v wideband sensor. the second bank, which is what throws the p0420 will tell you about the efficiency of your catalyst, and that's it...the first bank is your downpipe sensor and i believe it's used for tuning in closed loop (not WOT mode)...so you can see what your ECU sees.

sorry, for a more direct answer...wideband is better for an accurate AFR but its expensive
