If you need a new short block, these guys will give a $600 core making a short block with shipping and gaskets cost $1700 - $1800. Without the block it's about $2300 or $2400.

So you should be able to get at least $600 if your crank and cylinders are useable.

this is an extra one i have. i was going to use it for a stroker project and have one 2.0L and one stroker but things just aren't working out as planned so i need to get rid of my extra stuff i will not be using right now. thanks for the info you provided though. the cylinder walls look fine and the crank journals arent too bad either. i have had 4g63 cranks reground before and havent had a problem. i know what people will say to this so i know. it is also a hell of alot easier to regrind it and get all one size bearings rather than sourcing out all the different sizes from mitsu.

pm me a reasonable offer and we will go from there.

this is perfect for someone who wants to do a stroker, or to have an extra one to work on so there isn't much down time on the car. somebody get this out of here. : )

Is your block still for sale? If so, I may be *very* interested. What all will the block come with? Feel free to reply in this thread or via PM's, thanks.
