here some more info to help everyone out.

Basicly you would either send your brain to works or if you are local go there and they will flash your ecu to whatever mods you have and your year even if its an evo 9. then they will send it back to you with the boost line and thats it.

Sooooo ... You paid Works to flash your ECU (your VIN #) and now you are going to "Sell" your "flash", but you can't just swap ECUs w/o re-programming the immobolizer an keys. So the person that buys this gets what from you, a boost line with the Works resticter pill? Then, they are to send thier ECU to works who will flash thier ECU ( with thier new VIN #) free of charge becuase they paid YOU 400$ ???!! I just don't think Works will be down for flashing 2 ECUs for the price of 1 while putting 400 bucks in your pocket.

Please forgive me if I'm not understanding this, but from what I've read

Not to be rude but you don't know what you are talking about

basicly your getting a p2 flash and the works p2 line for $400 and the transfer fee. not my ecu, not my vin, not my keys, nothing like that . maybe you haven't looked at works website but they charge $600 for this so you would save about $100 or more. A P2 flash isn't used so it wont wear out or anything so why should it depreciate in value. I wish people would read befor posting. http://www.worksevo.com/store/produc...products_id=50

Again this isn't to be rude at all, just to help everyone out. If I'm not clear feel free to call works they will explain everything

Not rude at all and I hope I you don't I'm rude either On the contrary, I have read your entire thread and the link you suplied. I am familiar with Works, thier flash and the nessecary transfer methods.

I'm still srtuggling with the concept. I saw nothing on Work's website about re-sale of a flash. I find it hard to believe Works would facilitate this instead of selling 2 flashes for 600$ each.

My mention of VIN #,keys and ecu was to illustrate the point your not physically selling anything.

If Works has a resale policy, I stand corrected and I will go away. However if you are trying to be the first to re-sell flash with a one user liscense without an ECU, shame on you.

You stand corrected. Please apoligize to the man. I called works, discussed the sale with them, and he is correct. He is selling the ownership of a reflash. He sends his ecu to works, I send my ecu to works. Both are reflashed, his to stock, mine to my mods. I'm dealing with him and WORKS and have talked to both. Unless they(WORKS) does something differant he is on the up and up.

My apologies, that's a great deal and a great idea. I didn't see it in thier website and I didn't think Works would support it, I should have given them and carbonevo8 the benifit of the doubt. I do stand corrected and my sincerest apologies to all parties. Ninja doc, enjoy the p2, it kicks ****.
carbonevo8 thanks for your patience and civility
