These AEM C2DI ignition systems are available in 4 and 8-channel configurations, which are ideal for applications utilizing aftermarket stand-alone engine management systems. They are the only capacitive discharge ignition systems available with dual capacitors. This enables the AEM C2DIs to produce more energy and voltage per spark than any other available CDI unit. AEM's exclusive twin cap technology stores the energy for two distinct spark events, and allows for full spark energy for each individual spark plug, even on high-rpm distributed Mustangs.

* 540 V primary/54,000 V secondary voltage energy
* Multi-strike capability of up to 10 sparks per ignition trigger (20 degrees)
