Yeah, I would think that it would too but there was another member here that thought the same thing but it didn't fit his IX either...and has been trying to sell it since. Please find out for me. Thanks.

The older style BR racing FMIC have been notorious for fitting issues. The new design has less issues with tearing couplers and such. But the new deluxe is the same prices as the race unit (-LICP).

I just called and spoke with Jarrod and he said that it should fit. The only difference between the 8 and 9 , as I thought, is the turbo outlet pipe which may be at a slightly different angle with the evo 9 turbo.

haha!!!

Kev, I emailed you. I think you and Steve have me talked into this. Call my cell this weekend after you read my email and if we got a deal I'll drive down this week when you are off work and snag it in my truck. I wanna take a look at your new turbo set up anyway. Just let me know.

Here are some updated pictures of the fmic since it is now off of the car..

Here you can see where the frotn bumper was rubbing up against the endtanks...but the scrapes do not go thru the fmic..

Here you see the small indentations where the clamps I used were a bit too tight...and put a small dent right at the tip of the pipes coming off the fmi on both sides..I think these could be easily pushed out/trued by any local exhaust shop for $5

And here you will see where I had to modify the right brasket in order for the fmic to sit straight..

Since I thought the fmic was in better shape and I have now noticed the several bleished...that can be fixed so they wont effect performance..I will reduce the price to 400 with free shipping.
