Im definetly thinking about selling my spare trans that i have due to the fact that i went six speed but i wanted to send this one out to do the usual treatment.. but im starting to get low on money... so here it goes.. if anyone is interested..

Perfectly working 2005 Evolution 8, 5 speed Transmission
Came off my GSR with stock power at the time..
Tracked it twice on the big track at Willow Springs..
Always Used Redline Fluids
Flushed every 6k miles
Aprox. 28.XXX Miles on it.. so lets say 30K
Never had a grind for any reason.. shifted great.. i just wanted to be cool and went with the 6-speed and now i just got me cams n an fmic n im starting to run low on money to mod it.. so i figure i can sell it..

Everyone knows what a transmission looks like.. its used. and dirty from grabbing it while taking it out.. been sitting for about 3 weeks.. so hasnt seen much downtime. again.. nothing wrong with it...

Pretty sure you can... ill do a search n double check..

 

05 has acd. so it is different.

 

acd is in the transfer case...

 

according to everything i have read.. yes it will fit due to the fact that the center differential is the same as the ACD model except for the fact that instead of being bolted to a VCU it is bolted to a hydrolic clutch pack( ACD ) which makes the transfer case bigger.... so the 05 tranny should bolt up to the regular 03-04 being they are the same differential just instead of the vcu theres an acd on the other side...

 

if anyone is skeptilcal go ahead and do a search... ill keep searching and if anyone finds anything let me know.. thanx

 

it is the EXACT same trans as the 03-04. no diff whats so ever.

The trans won't work as you willl need a 05 t-case as well as the ACD works with the T-case and Tranny....fyi

 

Sekula i would liek to know the source of ur oppinion because i havent been able to find anything ...

 

Lancershp sells the transmission stating it fits the Evolution 8 if there was a difference it would be stated..
