For sale in Illinois is a slightly damaged Evo 8 cylinder head. I had a rod failure in cylinder #4 which resulted in a complete loss of the block, but it appears everything fell into the oil pan before it had a chance to damage the cylinder head. There are a couple of small knicks on the valve and on the head itself, but I believe this cylinder head can be used as a core for a port job. I have attached some pictures of the head. If you would like higher resolution copies please send me a PM.
Looking for $600 plus shipping, but will entertain offers.
The core charges from EvoM vendors vary from $1150 to $1400.

I have not brought it to a machine shop. As soon as I start spending money on this thing it's no longer worth it to sell it. There was nothing wrong with the head before the rod failure, so it is unlikely that it is warped. The only thing wrong with it is the damage to cylinder #4 pictured above.

I'm interested but won't buy if it's warped. I think more info is needed....an inspection by a machine shop could help that will bring in buyers.
