honestly with all internals stock except the cams with my 30r i revved it out to 8300 frquently with no issues whatsoever, and let me tell you these things make it pull all the way up there HARD! You dont need anything else to install these as they work on an all stock valvetrain and your cam seals should be fresh enough to reuse.
Any cams in general. Even with an upgraded valvetrain you need to keep the rpm's a bit under control(some people rev to 8500 briefly) its just that its near the limit of the rod bolts I believe. Stetched rod bolt=big problems. I've run my HKS280's over a year without issue. With TBE, filter, MBC I made 347whp and 352trq on Pruvens dynojet at 22psi.

no its NOT any cams in genral, theres alot of cams out there that cannot utilize the stock valve springs without problems if you search around. this is why the HKS cams are so popular. Its not the fact of how many revs the top end can take as far as stock parts, the bottom end has been proven to be able to rev to 8500 for short periods without damage aka a racing situation.
