Where did you have the Tanabe DP tapped for a WB? Or are you referring to the EGT bung that Tanabe installs at the factory?

the tanabe is tapped for an O2 just before it meets the test pipe ... the factory comes with a bung for an EGT, but isnt tapped.... that has been tapped for a 1/8th npt for my defi setup.

why do you ask ? its a wideband bung... it looks like any other wideband bung. If you would like to know where to have your DP tapped for a wideband, just ask. Otherwise, it is positioned directly before the flange pointing in a slightly 12 to 1 oclock position. Basically, right at the grommet that comes out right underneath the shifter console passenger side. It keeps the sensor out of harms way. The welding on the bung looks standard and the threads are in the same condition they were when i had it welded.

I dont mean to across as a ***** or anything. It really comes down to do you want the DP or not... I posted pics of the flange that meets the cat, its is perfect and looks new, i posted pics of the made in japan so anyone looking would know it is authentic. The flange by the O2 housing looks the same as the other flange. I didnt need to, but i sent a tap thru the egt bung to clean out anything that may have been in there. The DP is in perfect working condition, just needs a new home as i havent had it on my car in over a year.

Can the EGT bung be plugged since I dont run an EGT gauge there. Could you supply me a couple more pics of the downpipe. I am VERY interested.
