I'm lookin to buy a twin disk reaal quick... my clutch is slipping again... FUUCK ACT..!!! only had it on for like 2/3 months and its slipping as we speak //: so I'm trying to get a twin disk already... or maybee even just the ACT clutch disk... I'm also eagerly anticipating the 60K service so goshh dannng... //: help me out someone

I only recommend twin exedy for a reason. I've seen to many people in your shoes.

 

thats odd because my ACT has lasted nearly 60k miles perhaps u need the driver mod also btw we had major issues out of a exedy twin in my friends 500whp evo. The ACT held fine for a long time and the Exedy had a very odd engaugement seems many have had the same problem may want to look around But we will sell you a used one!

 

+1 I had a ACT reg street disc. Lasted me 30K and 10K of that was with 500whp still not slipping.


I bought Exedy twin disc and it lasted me less than 10k

I went with an ACT Xtreme+6Puck this time, im not spending another 1k+ for something thats going to last 10k or less.

 

I have a used Exedy Twin that just came back from Exedy for tech inspection and they say its 25% worn and has a brand new clip for $1000 shippd

 

naa man not the driver mod I broke it in for 700miles and I've been real easy with it.... I have no clue as to how its already slipping... but umm well peeps pm me with prices shipped to 79938 and as for the the Act... its the HDSS pressure plate... has a few scuffs and its up for sale if anyone wants it
