WTT JAM Lifters for Stock!

Hey guys i have a set of JAM 3mm non ticking lifters that im looking at trading for a good set of stock lifters. Here is some information on the lifters

JAM~EVO 3rd Gen 'Non-Ticking' 3mm Big Bore Lifters
This is our 3rd gen 3mm Big Bore lifters, they are the only "Upgraded" replacement lifter you will ever need. We have tried them all and none compare to these.
Fits all EVO series 2.0 4g63 cylinder heads prefectly. Priced for the complete 16 piece set

Thanks
Chris

What kind of condition are they in? Have they been ticking at all?

Im looking to trade becouse i changed my setup this year to a destroked 2.1 to be able to have high revs for the 42R. I then got ahold of GSC and got a set of there S3 camshafts. After talking with them they were asking about the build and they highly advised me to not run the JAM lifters with the S3 camshafts specially at the revs that im looking at. They said they are fine for most cases but becouse of the camshafts profile and the revs and the lifters actually being 3mm taller then stock i would have problems with the rockers falling off at high rpms. He advised me to get a stock set and i would be fine.

This set has 20 dyno passes on them before it spun a rod bearing in the beginning of winter.

That is a load of crap. The JAM lifters are meant to help with a cam that has a higher ramp rate or lift. The stock lifter will not have the recovery that the JAM lifter will have under higher lift. The misinformation is due to conflicting plains of thought between GSC and JAM.

I have a set of stock ones I will trade you if you desire. PM me, although I would keep them if it was my car. Sorry to bump your thread in a slightly negative way.

I would sell them but i dont think you want to pay me what it is going to cost to buy new ones from so that is why i threw the idea of a trade in.

How are the lifters you have? Mind if i have Steve go take a look at them for me?

If you lost a rod bearing with the JAM lifters installed, whoever reinstalls them would be well served to cycle bleed them a few times very carefully, so that any damaged bearing particles suspended in the oil are flushed out.

Good, Chris! Some know this, some don't. Better double safe than sorry, is my method of motor building

Good luck with the trade. I've got a spare set of stock lifters, too, if the guys above don't come through.
