This is the regular one as they provide the same cooling but this one works with both 8s and 9s and the wide tank only looks normal on a 9.

I've been getting requests for pics. The FMIC is still in the unopened box. If someone is serious about purchasing I will open it up and snap some pics but until then I'm just gonna leave it boxed up.

I'm gonna at least try it out for a few days. It won't really cost me anything.

You know what .... it works pretty darn good too. Between my DSM, EVO8, and EVO9 I've tried a few different FMICs. There really is a difference in quality and performance.

I've tried the AMS ebay copy and that didn't work for me. I also tried an RnR FMIC and though it cooled the charge nicely it was much laggier than stock. Probably because it was so big:

The ETS fmic was the easiest to install and seems to provide excellent cooling without killing spool. I also like the filled up front mouth the ETS provides.

I purchased this FMIC only because I attend alot of lapping days where the car is at WOT for 30 minutes at a time. It seemed to be the best upsize that didn't limit airflow to other cooling devices.

I wasn't aware that a larger intercooler effects spool up. I thought if anything it would better cool hence the ability of making more power.
