I decided to go with the new (and exensive) FP Evo Red turbo & methonal injection, so I never ended up putting this NEW - NEVER USED TME 6.5 Turbo on my car. Many places sell this turbo for $1100 + shipping.

If you own an Evo 8, especially a 2003 or 2004 Evo 8 and you want to upgrade your turbo without going crazy, then this is the way to go. Unlike upgrading to the Evo 9 turbo, this turbo requires no additional parts to install - just unbolt the stock turbo and install the new one.

The benefits of this turbo over the stock 2003 & 2004 turbo's is that it uses the 10.5 hotside for more top end. The benefit of this turbo over the Evo 9 turbo upgrade is the titanium/aluminide turbine wheel that is 33% lighter than stock. This makes this turbo spool faster than any other bolt-on Evo turbo. If you are looking for a turbo upgrade for your daily driver that not only gives you more top end power but also INCREASES driveability... then this is what you are looking for.

I have an '05 but was looking at upgrading just to a 9 turbo. This may be tempting though. Not sure if it will be worth it for me though considering I've already got the 10.5
