4g64 block plus some other stuff
I have for sale a stock 4g64 short block, good except that I think the rings were blown, excellent core for somebody doing a full build. Also I have an automatic transmission, a torque converter, and stock head. The parts are off a 4cyl Dodge Stratus. The 6cyl TB is off a Stratus also, not an EVO TB. I figured somebody would want the block, and had already posted this sale on another forum (otherwise I wouldn't even include the auto tranny.)
BLOCK = $sold
HEAD = $75
AUTO TRANSMISSION = $100
TORQUE CONVERTER = $25
4"x9" AEM DRY FLOW filter (one only) = $30
4" mandrel bends = $10 each
6cyl TB = $20
All parts have approx ~70K miles before I blew the rings and built another motor I purchased that had bad rings. I also have
Exhaust manifold, stock with cat (pm me if interested, and I'll provide pics)
And maby I'll put up my e-manage ultimate with pressure sensor/wideband cable, ect as long as the EVO ECU tune goes well and I don't need to utilize it to stabilize the GM MAF signal.
I also have an EVO head, without the camshaft caps. It has most if not all of the lifters/rockers/valves and springs assembled. I'll also provide pics if somebody is interested in using this for parts.

block, and a bud light bottle snuck in there

head

tq converter

Auto transmission. (I also have the mount, just didn't get it back on before the pic)
Adding the AEM DRY FLOW filter, part number 21-2059dk. *NOTE* this is for one only! I need the other one for my build!!!

These look like there were used to mock something up, but never as an actual "air filter". The element appears brand new IMO, thats why I bought them. Only thing is I just need one.
6cyl Throttle Body. It isn't in the greatest shape. I bought it from a junk yard for like $60 shipped. It had lots of corrosion which I tried to smooth out with a dremmel, but still looks fugly. Should work. I tried it on my car and it idled at ~2000rpm's so I went back to my stock TB. It comes with the two sensors, but I cannot guarantee they work.

Closer pic of the TB

Block and Transmission are pick up only, as I don't have any idea how to ship these heavy products. Also I have a stock exhaust manifold off my strat. I have a set of EVO camshafts (stock). PM me and I'll post pics ect.

Dude, every time I look into shipping its like $400 for shipping. If you can figure out a way to ship something this heavy then I'll work with you man. So far I really only talked to UPS. I don't have a palet or anything to tie it down, so thats kinda part of the problem.

The block is out of my 2003 dodge stratus, basically an 03 eclipse GS with a dodge symbol slapped on. I blew the rings boosting it stock and learning to tune. I have a junk yard motor, built up in my car now, so this one just sits in the basement.
If you could ship it UPS in a large box I'll take it. It's about $98 give or take to ship UPS ground. The weight should be around 130 lbs give or take (the 4G63's I've shipped in the past where about that much) Less if you take the pistons and rods out. The UPS weight limit is 150 lbs (I used to be a shipping manager for the engineering firm I work for). Obviously I don't need the pistons and rods so they could be thrown out and it would be lighter. I'll do the leg work on shipping and make sure the block can be used in an Evo. I can even send you a box big enough to pack it in and a predone label from work. I can't find a newer model year 2.4L block anywhere locally and I'd really like to grab one to do a build up on. I might be trading in my Evo but I doubt it will be any time soon with this market. PM me and let me know if you're willing to do that. I'm very interested.

Still for sale. Interesting idea about the box, I'm willing to try it at the purchaser's expense. Taking out the pistons/rods is a great idea. I'd leave the crank and other stuff though.
