Strange! I was told by MAperformance that the ultimate rods are all the same for standard or stroker applications.

That is correct, the wrist pin location is different between a stroker piston and standard 2.0 piston.

the stroker doesnt have a taper so you wont have to clearance the block
two different part numbers
same dimensions different taper

however actually the ultimate rods are the Manley 300M rods which are even more money
