how's the spool on this thing compare to stock, is it really as good as Tomei claims? are you using E85?

 

yes e85, and it spools just like, or a bit faster than a green.

 

is that OBO?

 

I don't know why people ask about spool up.all stock framed turbos spool up within a few 100 rpm of each other.

it seems to me why someone wouldn't just put a grand and a 9 turbo down and get a red?? The tomei is a really nice turbo with lots of power potential and good characteristics.

that another option, if you want an fpred, the tomei is a good turbo, and they are not easy to find, this turbo is ready to ship. same thing with a green, why would someone buy the green when the red is ~$100 more. it all depends what you are looking for.

you get a green because you can get them cheaper then 1695 now lol used. I seen them as low as 950. Also you get this turbo if you cant save up 2000 or get tired of waiting for a fp red in the waiting line and you need something now. I have not seen but like two vendors that actually carry this turbo but yet i have not seen many people with it or results. also you can sort of haggle with a private seller not a business thats bound to a certain price.
