Quarter master twin w/ hydraulic tob. Cheap!!!!
Mr 1NASTYMR..... Hence the lines "IT WAS SLIPPING WHEN I TOOK IT OUT!" and "PLEASE PM ME WITH QUESTIONS AND FOR PICS!!" Im hardly telling anyone it doesnt need a rebuild. The point it that IT DOESNT HAVE MANY MILES ON IT! Actually 3K to be exact! so its still relatively new. Like the TOB is pretty new and the fly wheel is pretty new. Please dont judge my post when u didnt even read the whole thing. Thanks!
Mr. CIJ911...... I sent u a pm so u could ask me any questions u would like. i dont always check the thread to see if anyone posts. i expect a Pm as i stated this in the ad. its to make sure that anyone who is interested in this part gets their questions answered asap. But to answer ur questions... The clutch is slipping in 3rd through 5th gear. why i do not know. i daily drove the car and i think because it is so aggressive that it takes a toll on the discs. this clutch does not really slip. the engagement point is so small or short that its almost engaged as soon as the clutch is moved. There is a rubber stop that u put on the back of ur clutch that stops ur clutch from going in all the way. The disengagement and engagement points are about 2 inches apart. if that. hardly room for slipping it. on the track this would be fine. on the street it didnt work for me. Especially on a hill. As for the clutch being 5 or 6 speed specific i dont know. i told MAPerformance that i had a 5 speed and this is the clutch i got. so if there is a specific one for each app then i would say i have one for a 5speed as that is what i have. I hope these answers help u in deciding on a clutch. if u have anymore questions please PM me as i will be able to answer u sooner.
Thanks
Mike
