Feeler wtt: bbk full for 80mm fp red

Considering trading my bbk full for an 80mm housing fp red. I mostly drag race so I could use the few extra lbs of flow for this year. My bbk has amazing spool and a little less than a thousand miles on it. 500 of those miles were clutch break in since I smoked my act. Not looking for shipping and local to eastern pa trade. Willing to meet up with someone who is interested. If I don't have any good interest the turbo will go back to Cbrd for the new bbk-b upgrade coming out soon.

Trying to avoid the 64mm due to the surging issues I have read about. I may still consider a 64mm though. If you decide you want to pm me and maybe we can work something out.

Interested in selling the BBK and then purchasing what you want on your own?

If so, PM me.

Hope you actually get more out of the Red. We are seeing pretty similar results from the Red and BBK locally. The Red might make 1-2% more hp, but that's it. Not enough to sweat about when you have better spool. Good luck and I'll be looking in the Drag section to see how it turns out!

only FP turbo I would consider over my BBK would be a Black.... but thats only if I had a built 2.3 or 2.4, only reason being the BBK-XL version is not available (or is it?) and the FP external housing

i actually really enjoyed the bbk and just wanna try out a red to see the difference. depending on how i like the red i may come back to the bbk xl once its released. im never content and always looking to try something different. i have been through an evo 9 turbo, 58mm turbo, 6262, and now bbk full. i plan on running around 35psi on e-85 once the weather warms up in the spring. thats a little outside the bbk range and partly the reason i switched. pump gas daily by far the bbk was a great option and kudos to cbrd to making some good products.

Did you guys go through with the trade? I'd be willing to trade my 80mm for a turbo with more low end.

i am still looking for an 80mm red. the trade fell through and the vendor shipped my bbk back because he realized he could not flip hotsides between the bbk and red. he wanted to keep his swain coated and ported hotside. wiznaz you got a pm.
