The thing is, I don't want to spend any more money on the exhaust. Yes, I do have the stock cat on. About the muffler in the midpipe, don't I have to take out the cat to run that???

For me, it's not too loud. As I mentioned in the first post, I have older folks in my neighborhood complaining. I think I included a soundclip at idle cold start.

 

how does this fit with jdm rear? can anyone chime in?

 

It's adjustable. The guy I bought it from had it shortened for his jdm rear. It sits flushed with the usdm rear. I personally prefer the flushed fit instead of the sticking-out look.

 

Id tell them to **** off. Is it legal what youve done?

Let me help you and save you money. I had the buschur tbe exhaust on mine, it was really loud. What i did was buy a ebay muffler with a three inch outlet, and now the car is MUCH quieter. I paid 25 bucks for the ebay muffler. So all my piping is the same and no loss in power at all. Also looks so much better. I also added a perrin HFC to it, because when i pulled my hfc off due to alot of rattling, i came to find it wasnt high flow at all. Thanks to buschur.
