I have a stock evo 9 tranny with about 25k miles on it. Dont know how it happened but it has a crack in the t-case housing. It drove fine and smooth up until the day it got taken out. Dont know what is exactly wrong with it, but the shop that I brought it to convinced me to go with a brand new tranny and not to fix this one because by the time they were done opening it up and fixing whatever was wrong it, it was going to be close to a new tranny bill. I ended up not cutting corners and went right to a brand new SHEP Race trans.

bump for my homey, i can vouch for this tranny...i have driven the car numerous times with it in it.

 

Sounds like it got cracked taking it out. Either way, how much do you want for it? Also, you state that it is a tranny forsale but that the T-case housing is cracked. So is it the tranny or is it the T-case? Pics would be helpful. Thanks
