Thread: Built 2.0L Longblock w/ Headgames Cylinder Head
I've got a freshly built engine on the stand that was going to go into my personal car. I ended up tossing in a stock motor since I'm selling the car so I've got this kick *** motor here ready for someone who wants big power.
Specs:
Built 2.0 - Machining $800
New OEM Crank $700
O rung block - By Justice Racing Engines $300
Wiseco 9:1 pistons - 86mm bore $450
Manley Turbo Tuff I beam Rods $750
ACL Race Bearings $120
UCS Performance Balance Shaft Eliminator Kit - Same stuff as the AMS kit $175
EVO IX 5 layer Headgasket $70
ARP L19 Headstuds $280
ARP Main Studs $80
Headgames ported cylinder head w/ Ferrera valve train (springs, retainers & valves) - Head has been refreshed w/ new OEM valve stem seals by Dave @ Headgames so it's like new! $2,200
Comp Cam 272s $400
New OEM Oil pump $200
New OEM Timing Belt $65
New OEM Hydraulic Tensioner $110
Overhaul Gasket Kit $260
I was deliberating tossing this in my '71 Opel GT but I could honestly use the cash. But damn, that would have been a kick *** swap!
For local members I'll do a special price installed. I keep your old engine and the price assumes your engine is in working condition, not blown up.
$5,400 installed + fluids. Price it around. You will not find a better deal than this on a complete fresh longblock installed. All block machining is fresh, the only thing used in this engine is the cylinder head and even that has been fully refreshed. This engine is capable of 9k RPMs. Add up the rough costs I have listed there and you come to a total of almost $7,000 and that doesn't even include engine assembly or install! THIS IS A SMOKING HOT DEAL PEOPLE!
If you just want to buy the engine outright and install it yourself, we can also work that out but the cost will be higher since I won't be getting your engine back as a core. I can ship anywhere in the continental US. Shipping cost is on the buyer along with a fee for crating up the engine. If I ship this thing, it goes out as a completed longblock minus manifolds, timing cover & valve cover but the engine will be timed w/ the belt on.
Oh yeah, this is a non MIVEC EVO VIII longblock built by UCS Performance in MD. Former master tech for DTM, multiple Redline TA wins, built the car that won the NASA National Championship in 2007 over Buschur in the TTR class, etc. The guy who built this engine knows his stuff.
This thing is ready to go. I could probably have you in and out in a day if the car was dropped off early enough in the morning!

Figure roughly ~$400 for shipping including crating it up to anywhere in the continental US. Outright purchase price w/ no core is above. Simple math gives you your total.
