Buschur Pistons

I have a used set of Buschur JE pistons for sale .020 bore, 9:1cr. They were only used for about 1,500 miles before I spun a rod bearing. They are in pretty good shape but one has a little bit of knock on it. These are definitely reusable, or so I've been told. I will get some pics up later today. All im wanting for these is $200 shipped.

Thanks,
- Tyler

The engine that these pistons came from failed due to a spun rod bearing and what I find funny is the best looking piston is the one that came from the rod that spun a bearing and got all bent up at the bottom. I'd say 3/4 of these are definitely reusable.. however, there's one that has quite a bit of divots in it so I'm not sure if a machine shop could fix that at all or if it's just going to have to remain that way.

I'm not sure if these divots will render the piston worthless or if it would even matter. If any of you are fairly educated with machine shops or the limits of pistons feel free to chime in.

This one is perfect, as you can see...

this one is pretty eaten up but no major divots on the main surface of the piston so i imagine it wouldn't really effect its performance. Not for sure though..

Let me know what you guys think these are worth if my price is a little high. They are ultimately worthless to me but I'd like to get a little bit out of em considering I paid like $800 for em' brand new. I'm sure there's someone out there building a back-up motor and/or needing to get back on the road for cheap that could use these.

Most of the pitting looks like detonation.

Doe anyone know if they can be machined down? If someone just wants the one that doesnt have any pitting then I could probably do like $50 shipped for it. I didnt realize these things had so much pitting on em until I cleaned em up a bit. ; (

Holy ShEEEEEEEEEt. Was this the first car the tuner has ever tuned? With that much knock/dentonation the car would have been studdering the whole pull.

Holy crap! That last piston is terrible. It looks like a piece of the ring broke off and was bouncing around in there. The last one shouldn't be used at all, and I would question the first one too.

Lol.. Well lets just say no one around these parts will ever use him again. But ya id say theres only one piston here thats reusable. So if anyone wants it just make me an offer. I definitely wont need ot anymore.
