normal powder coating will not tolerate the heat that manifold is going to see..

well ofcourse man,

i think we all know that already. the items that get hot are powdercoated with higher temp materials.

some discoloaration might happen but it will be a LONGG time before that does happen.

youd have to ask a powder coater - but im willing to bet that it can actually catch on fire/smolder.

powder coat turns to like a plastic substance and it wouldnt suprise me at all if it wouldnt go up..

The highest temp powder coat I am aware of is capable of handling 1000F. Good luck keeping a thin walled tubular manifold under that.

regardless, if your interested, i can get it sandblasted and cleaned up and get rid of the powdercoat. just make some offers id like to get these both gone soon.
