MuslimEvoFreak, I contacted Strictly Modified and am confused at what is being included for the $1000 price tag. Are you including anything other than the bare block (yes, that has been machined) or is that it?

I am sorry for the confusion but it is just the bare block. Cisco will be more than happy to help you with your build plans though. He will also cut you a fantastic deal! If you want it built just PM him.

1k seems a bit steep given the average/typical price of 4g64 blocks. Reference this thread:

Adding O-rings runs $175 (Jackson Auto Machine).

Agreed. But even so, machining just the bores and deck is cheap. I think that the seller just needs to disclose exactly what machining was done to the block to warrant the 1k asking price. If it was prepped close to this, http://jacksonautomachine.com/index....=375&Itemid=12, then the asking price is spot on.

And I apologize to the OP for creating a discussion in your thread. I'm just curious myself as to what exactly you had done to the block.

This is very steep! My block has only cost me 470 so far and I got it tanked, decked, with a crankshaft inclueded and the crank has been polished too! Not sure how much o-ringing costs though, so i could be out of place-

Yes like said above I had a miss-communication about the pricing of the block. I will update the price accordingly very soon.

Block machining deails are as follows:

- Cleaned
-tumble blasted and stripped
-decked
-hoaned
-redid freeze plug
-O ringed block

If you want oil squirters it will cost you an additional $250 + the squirters (4g64blocks dont
have squirters).

-Cisco
