full blown doble pump
Just as an FYI, he's selling this so cheap because I bought this from him then returned it to him after my tuner said something was wrong with it...no, he didn't refund my money either.
My advice is do not buy it, it doesn't work. One of the pumps was not working and the siphon had been modified. I tried to fix the set-up for 4 months which was too long to dispute it with paypal but I'm still fighting with my credit card company about it. Also once you hit 1/4 of a tank it sputters which I'm told is semi-typical for full blown double pumpers.
That handi-work in the pictures is my attempt at fixing what he said was his cousin's inability to correctly uninstall the pump. Here are all the known issues that I had and if you want e-mail conversations to prove I have them -
The wiring had nothing to protect gas from sloshing up and out of the pump, someone had removed the sheathing.
The siphon line was cross-threaded so when it tried to pull fuel it spilled out all over the top of the tank.
One of the pumps turns on but doesn't flow any fuel, i.e. the AFR doesn't change at all i.e. it is dead.
The float is bad and throws a CEL code.
Thanks for the refund javi. I know some of the stuff you sell is good but this thing was/is **** and you argued that it was your cousin uninstalled it wrong. I'm still waiting for that refund.
