Hi thanks for writing,
This is a Perrin Silicon Upper IC Pipe an its a direct replacement for the upper boost tube and uses the stock battery. It goes from the throttle body to the cold side of the turbocharger.
About the intake; I was using it on my car that has a Perrin air Filter.
