I am going to try and post up pictures tomorrow...I was caught up with Valentines and I had my son today. The turbo has 80,xxx miles(same as what I have in the car) no cracks on anything and I am letting it go bc I have a 5o trim to go along with my 2.3 set up that i will be starting on this week
Your replies are a bit confusing...can u clarify a few things:
1) if this IX turbo has 80,xxx miles on it (same mileage as on your car), how is that possible since you own an '03 Evo? Or are u saying you've owned this turbo since it was new & have put 80,xxx miles on it?
2) since the turbo is on the car still, how can you assert that the turbine housing has no cracks in the divider wall? You have to seperate the turbine housing from the CHRA in order to inspect for cracks..
I'm not thread crapping here....just like straight concise answers just like anyone else..

2). I will snap some pictures and thats all I am willing to do. I have way to much to do with my build then to play with this thing. I will even try to make a video of the shaft play but thats basically it. I am going to sell it with the housing, lines and even with the o2 sensor because I dont have time to take it apart. Thanjks...BTW I have someone pending for this!
You may get a few less questions if you followed the guidelines for posting items for sale in this forum. With No sales rating at all, and no willingness to follow what are pretty basic rules, it could look suspicious to some.
For reference:
FS posts on EVOM MUST INCLUDE:
PICTURE OF THE ITEM WITH A SIGN CONTAINING THE DATE AND YOUR EVOM USERNAME.
Price
Accurate description of item and its current condition.
Location of seller & Willingness to ship.

Thanks for your response, buuuut...if a seller is unwilling to check the condition of the divider wall for cracks, you're gonna really thin out your crowd of buyers to a few clueless noobs. FP or CBRD will NOT upgrade a turbo with a cracked housing - new ones are available for $395. And that as you can imagine drops the value on any used turbo..
I'd still be interested in this turbo, granted though everything is legit with it.
..& here's a link to a section on FP's site discussing turbine housings:
