FS:MAP stage 5 head, damaged. CHEAP
**SORRY, edit. Evo9 mivec head.**
Hey guys, this has been sitting around for a long time now, i just havnt touched it or felt like doing anything with it. I had motor issues about a year ago, metal got into the head, and the intake cam, and cam journals on the intake side of the head were scored and damaged. The amount of material taken off put the head out of spec to be a good, useable head. NOW. I called around at the time, as i was pretty upset i now i had a 2000 dollar paperweight, and Greg@GSC gave me a phone number to Dover Cylinder heads in NC where he told me the head was fixable. It was $70 for the intake side to be line honed back to perfectly round, and an addition $45 bucks for bearings to make the head the correct size again. Basically, at this point they would install bearings on the intake side, much like a rod bearing, to make all back to spec. He told me he has done MANY heads this way, with no issues.
So that brings me here, i didnt wanna put more money into it, if everyone would be afraid of running it with bearings. So ill list it, if no one wants it to pay a little for it, ill throw it in the trash.
Its a map stage 5 ported head, with supertech valve guides and all the good stuff. The head doesnt have valves or valve springs, i took those out to sell seperate to make some money. A set of valves, springs and retainers, and youre good to go.
Ill sell it for $250 bucks+shipping. Honestly, if youre willing to run the bearings...this is INSANE, you will have one of the best ported heads on the market, for less than half the cost of a new head. Ill leave this up for a few days, if no one is interested, ill close it and trash it.
feel free to PM me with any questions.

I can post pics of the head before the springs and retainers were taken out. I am away right now, and dont have any others. As far as the damage, its not really visible to a picture. Its just a circle that should be 1 inch(just a reference) is now 1.05 inches(another reference). Cant really capture that.
