2006 Mivec Longblock - 36K Original Miles

Hey EvoM,

Up for sale is an extra longblock I was going to use for my car, but ended up going 2.4L!

The motor was in perfect running shape before removed. Oil was always changed with Mobil 1 with an OEM filter. Maintenance was always kept up on by Evo8Dad, who is well known on the forum for doing great work! As you can see, the motor is very clean.

The only aftermarket parts on the motor are BC Ti Springs/Retainers and BC 280 cams.

Motor will come Valve Cover to Oil Pan. I have an alternator and accessory belt tensioner, along with a few other things that could come with it if needed.

Motor never saw anything bigger than a stock turbo with bolt ons, and was always professionally tuned on Speed Density.

I have a IX ECU and Engine Harness out of the same car that I will include for another $500 if someone wanted to use this as a Mivec Swap on their VIII.

Sold!

Let me know if you have any further questions!

Thanks,

Bob

Hey man,

If you're really interested I could get a quote, however, I have some local buyers interested at the moment, so I'll keep you posted.

Sorry about that, brotha. I'll run out and snap a picture with the VIN. I was in a rush to leave for the beach this weekend so it slipped my mind.

Sorry about that. Milage is in the title. Motor came out of a 36K mile car. Never saw more than a basic stock turbo/bolt ons setup, as the car was always local to me. I knew the motor so I didn't think to run compression numbers. A few extremely knowledgable guys on the forum have done the maintenance on this car, so I'll see if I can't get them to chime in.

PM Returned, BTW!

Do you really have the engine sitting on the oil pan

Actually, more important to the subject is the fact that you're probably not even interested in purchasing this motor, so I'd prefer you troll elsewhere.

However, for the people you've just made skeptical about my perfectly functioning engine, the oil pan is more than strong enough to support the weight of the motor with no negative consequences. Do you think motors hover when they're shipped around the country?
