Great question!
Details for the turbo are as follows:
Garrett Twin Ball Bearing 35R Turbo
Compressor
.60 A/R
35R exducer with a clipped inducer to maximize spool characteristics (less inertia)
Turbine
.84 A/R
35R turbine with clipped exducer for less inertia and proper flow characteristics
The manifold, gasket, and twin scroll turbine housing are all port matched. This turbo was created for the Evo motor specifically. With the intention of building the motor, this turbo will provide a very large power band, with the area UNDER the curve in mind. It will continue to make power beyond 8,000 on a 2.0 liter motor, and will easily make solid power to 8,000 on a 2.3 motor.
It was designed to provide enough capacity to properly process air through the head and turbo with a future build. (Larger Camshafts/slight head port/etc.)
I was intending on matching this kit with a stroker motor, which would provide stock like spool with double the power, at least. You can essentially do anything (Street, Track, and Drag Strip) with this kit.
