Exedy Twin HD used/cheap

used Exedy twin,HD model needs rebuilding.everything included even flywheel.there are hot spots on the face, but i believ it's straight.the plates are .150" and .155" thick as is.this clutch just needs a new home and a rebuild.$350 shipped/paypaled

Those friction discs have like 90% life left if that's what they measure...why did you pull the clutch and what makes you think it needs rebuilt? Pressure plate warped or cracked?

putting in a motor that makes 800whp+ is why i pulled the motor and clutch.

no cracks and they all look straight, but lots of hot spots on the flywheel and pressure plates.

this came off a car i bought a few months ago and the clutch is supposed to have only 7-8,000 miles on it,but it made a lot of noise and it started locking out of 1st and reverse.i adjusted it and it got better, but at that point it was completely adjusted out.no more room

i honestly don't know a lot about EVO clutches, but from what i have read this clutch won't stand up to the new motor/turbo i am putting in anyway.

i will say that aside from a little noise and being adjusted all the way out,it works well.it never slipped once on me.

i think 550 or 600.it is the HD version and like the guys said above, the discs have a lot of life left on them.i honestly don't know why i was having trouble adjusting it.it might work oerfectly for someone else.

it is the cheapest Exedy twin on here and after looking at all the others it isn't in bad shape at all.it looks better than most on here.

someone take a shot,it supposedly has under 7,000 miles on the rebuild while the motor was putting down under 500whp.this is according to the guy i bought it from, and he didn't lie to me about anything else on this car,so i believe him.

after i bought the car,i had it tuned for E85 and maybe it just didn't like it when the motor started putting down 708whp,but the car only put down 708whp for 1,000 of those 5,000 miles, and zero launches at that power level.the motor started smoking after the E85 tune.

$350 shipped/paypaled is basically less than $300 for an Exdedy twin HD.you may never see one this cheap again.
