Evo 8 head will not work in a 9 unless you plan on doing a harness and ecu swap...the same goes visa versa. Only a shortblock can be swapped between the two. Evo 9 cams won't fit in an Evo 8 head either.

Nice price on short block. What bolts do those rods have ? Are the rods std or long rods? Do you know the piston to wall specs?

Also it's I beams.. I was thinking of swapping my 2.4 currently with H beams to this 2.4 with I but I'm satisfied with 550 wheel.. Bump for people in search of some serious speed

Modded? Head doesn't need anything besides a gasket to bolt up. But stock head, it actually came off my 2.0 motor a bit ago bc I ended up just purchasing a complete logblock
