Ok fellas,

So as some of u have followed my build threads, I have decided to go with a new 2.2SLR Build from English Racing.

My current motor has only 4200 miles on it, and hasnt seen a single problem.

History of my car.

• Purchased car in 2010 from dealership, Car had 16,xxx miles. STOCK MOTOR
• Car had a bad flash on it from a vendor who is no longer really on this forum.
• At 20500 miles, car had Rod Knock. BOOO!!!!
• I decided to get a built motor, since I love moarrr power!

Motor was built by Maxwell power services, A reputable shop in marysville, WA.

After motor was completed, I ran into some difficulties with the shop finishing my car with installation, So i decided to take the car and new motor to English Racing where I knew I was in good hands.

I paid English racing just to make sure all the engine components were installed and built correctly, they inspected the short block and tweeked couple things. They gave me the green light, and had the car running in matter of a few days!

Car started on FP BLACK making a little over 450whp on pump 92oct/meth

Then i decided to go ETS FP HTA 3586 where the car made over 540whp on pump and 701whp running Q16.

Now Car is currently running a ETS PTE 6466, car makes 666whp on pump/meth, and 816whp on Q16

I am loving my car, but I want more torque, and something a little different.

8:5:1 RATIO
Mahle Crank
Mahle H+ Series Block
Je Pistons
Oil Pan
AMS Balance shaft delete


Does not include, Timing belt, oil pump, water pump

Motor has no issues, If any questions, car is at English Racing, Aaron (JohnBradley) at English Racing is the only one who has tuned the car since I built the motor, and He can attest that there is nothing wrong with the motor as he has been driving it around and ripping on it!

can you tell us what kind of torque numbers were at that HP level? how high of an RPM were you revving to?

Just a reminder and response to all the interests.

There is no warranty on the motor, anything that is listed is sold as is!

But feel free to contact English racing it needed. They are the only one who tuned it, and can vouch that they drove the car to make sure motor was good to go!
