FS: NEW BBK Full turbo

Have had this sitting in a box for a couple of years. Typical sob story: car breaks down, wife gets pregnant...twice in two years...now driving a Jetta TDI Sportwagen.

Soooo...my loss, your gain. For sale is a new and unused CBRD BBK Full Turbo. I threw everything Chad had at this turbo: hotside housing coated, ported, yada yada. It's been well stored in a dry, temperature controlled location and sealed in plastic and its original shipping box from CBRD.

Built on a TD05HR-16G6C-10.5T

You guys know this turbo has ***** and spool speed. You also know how expensive it was to build, so I'll stop wasting your time and offer it up at a fire sale price:

Asking $1650 + shipping

That's the cheapest new one I can find on EvoM. Here are the pics:

Just to clarify - the picture has been updated to comply with forum rules. I am in Sammamish, WA and am willing to ship anywhere you are willing pay for the shipping.

To answer some questions, here's a comparison pic showing the porting on this turbo compared to stock:

I don't know. CBRD should be able to answer, but I've left a couple of vmails and haven't heard back yet.

I have a wastegate actuator. I don't have any additional hardware, but this turbo uses all of the stock hardware IIRC. You should just be able to remove the stock turbo and bolt this one right in. It's basically a heavily (internally) modified stock bodied turbo.

If you're PMing me to troll lowball offers, please save us both the time and effort. I'd rather keep it than sell below asking. Thanks.

The warranty timer starts when the turbo is shipped by CBRD.

I know this because I asked Chad about my BBK Full a while back:

Oh great, thanks for the follow-up!

How soon do I need to install it? I was probably going to be having GST or FFTEC do the install of all the parts, but probably not until Spring 2012.

Will that be a problem?

Not an issue at all,

Your warranty starts from when it ships-

But the reliability of the BBK is AWESOME!
