A simple drill and tap, put a bigger sized bolt... that can be called an easy fix IMO

I think an issue may be that MAP sells the EF 2.5 for $1,500 with no stripped holes. yes, that's before shipping, tax, etc but that's what we're looking at. the ef4 seems decent enough assuming the warranty card is included. saving $300+ is awesome.
great deal for someone with an VIII turbo and doesn't have to have BB.

good luck, yo!

If the stripped bolt was fixed by lets say Wednesday and I up'd the price by $50 do you think that would help the sale? I ask becase I think I'm heading to the shop tomorrow early and can fix the bolt then really doesnt take much more than 15mins just been working ALOT and havent had the time to come back in town and do it... and yes the EF4 is a steal at this price

Thanks

it should help greatly. never underestimate the laziness of people. LOL. plus some don't have the equipment for repair. at that point, you only gotta deal with pricing. much easier to negotiate price than repairs.

I'm trying to decide between buying a turbo and sending mine in. not sure I can deal with down time.

Lol very true.... I mean I understand, some people just dont have the time either. Just figured I would see if anyone wanted to save a bit more cash w/ doing it them selves rather than waiting till I came back in town and me doing it and charging a bit more for the turbo.

I think buying a turbo would be a better idea lol.... Shoot me a PM if you wanna try and work a deal
