Evo 9 Stock Turbo Ported Great Condition

Hi guys,

I have a stock evo 9 turbo for sale. Its been ported and in excellent condition. Selling because I went to an FP Green and dont need this sitting around anymore. Before I took it off it was making 408 whp and 424 tq on e85. No leaks cracks or anything like that. Looking for $595 shipped OBO anywhere in US.

Thanks

hey not to crack your ad, but WHEN and HOW did you ever make 402hp on your WHEELS with that turbo??

i think US guys need to learn difference in WHEELS horse power and ENGINE..
ihad 422HP and 515NM engine power with mine turbo. thats about 325-330HP on wheels..
id like to know how you managed last 75HP

99Gas here with link G 4 and 272 cams

I think 400 on a 9 turbo is actually pretty normal on here with an engine build and e85. Ask around. And if you want a mod list look up details on my car. Car was tuned on a dyno at 29psi at 408 and 424. Dont know what else there is to say. And yes. This is at the WHEELS.

reason why i ask this is cuz all mods i see you guys have in the US is about 100-150HP more on wheels then what we have here in scandinavia
difference is that we use crank power and you whp.

what doesnt make sense is that us has 91/93 oct on theire tunes.. we have 99 and 101 in our gas stations..
and we make same power as you... exept.. we have engine and you have wheelpower..
question is.. is the tuner fooling you guys around and telling wheel power and not engine or what?

i have several friends in sweden driving around with 720+HP on wheels.. and on that same setup i saw another guys in this forum drive with 850whp.. with is NOT possible.. that is the same numbers my friend has on crank.. im confused

Firstly Sorry about thread jacking. To OP Goodluck with sale.

To start. Americans use 91/93 use Octane In Europe and In New Zealand/ Aussie we use RON which is 95/98 so when they run "93 octane" its the same as our 98.

Also they use different dyno's you are most likely using Dynopack dyno's which read at the hubs then measure the resistance to give you HP at the crank? Americas use Dynojet and Mustang dyno's Which read much differently and hence the values aren't very comparable.

Also This car was tuned on e85 and many turbo cars are tuned this way in the states allowing them to run much higher boost Which on a turbo with a compressor map desgiend for higher boost will help a lot in generating power. E85 has a much higher anti knock ( octane) rating that your 101 petrol.

And lastly i feel American tuners are better at tuning that all other countries i have seen tune evo's. They seem to make safer more responsive and powerful tunes on the same hardware and that is all in the hands of the tuner. Back home many evo's go pop on 18psi with a stock TD05 turbo let alone 500hp?

I hope that has explained everything to you, if you have any other questions please PM me and let the OP sell his turbo

Again sorry for Thread jacking, Good luck with sale.

$595 is a bit steep for an 8+yr old turbo when you can get a new one for $895. Also you have to remove the hotside to tell if it is cracked or not. Good luck with sale!

400 on this turbo is very possible with a good tune. I have a friend who ported his evo 9 turbo and hes making 400+ with a good tune. Bump for a nice turbo!
