2.4LR Billet Crank and Rods/NEW

I am selling my motor which is brand new with zero miles on it. My car was seized by local police which is a very long story, but my motor and trans was out being built at the time it happened. I am hoping this thread gets to stay due to the circumstances, but I can not get pics right now because the motor and trans are still at Jacks Transmissions. I was going to leave it with him with hopes of only having to ship it once.

It is a 2.4L with long Manley billet rods machined by Jack and a Manley billet crank with Wiseco 1400HD pistons. The compression is 10:1 as it was going to be run on E85 only, so for guys with no access to E85, you will need race gas to get the most out of this motor. The cams are GSC S3 and the head is also GSC and the casting is also brand new from Mitsubishi because we couldn't find a suitable core at the time. I had Jack do some extra machine work to the internal parts to make it run better and last longer.

It is listed as the Stage 2 Big Block build at Jack's website for $9400, but mine has the billet crank and GSC head and cams. I think I spent and extra $3000 for head and crank upgrade counting the $1400 for a new casting instead of a core charge. The billet crank is essential for a 2.4 build with a large turbo in my opinion. The OEM 100 cranks don't look like they can take huge power at high RPM, but the billet cranks are much stouter.

The transmission is actually a Shep stage 1 transmission with a 4.11 Final drive, a billet ouput tube and the REM ISF treatment to the gearset. The transmission has less than 1000 miles on it and I had Jack take it apart and check it out and add the 4.11 FD to it just to be safe. He says it is good2go.

I will take $10,000 for the motor and transmission shipped to your front door. If you buy this setup brand new (like this one is) from vendors you will spend close to $20,000 without cores. Here is a chance to save big. I know some of you already have a trans core or a block or whatever and don't need to start over, but you can always sell your old stuff or keep it as a back up.

This is a great deal and I also have lots of other parts I will be posting later like FIC 2150cc and the Squash double pumper, etc.

All warrantys will transfer to new owner.
