Also, this would be a chance to have the compression ratio made to what a buyer wants.
After I build it it will be sold with whatever I choose to put in.

TTT......I spoke with Tom again and he said there should be no reason that this isn't a useable block given how everything happened and what the damage is.

TTT......updated the prices.
Like I stated before, Tom is sure that a .040"rebore and new pistons/ rings, bearings, and main hardware will take care of the rebuild.

Pulled it apart and as I suggested before......it needs a rebuild.
There is minimal damage as you can see from the pics. The cylinders may be able to be honed or might need to rebored, a machine shop would have to tell you.

All in all everything looks good as, see for yourself.

Come on guys......as you can see this is a buildable block. The pics make the cylinder wall look worse than what they actually are.
There are a couple of spots were you can catch a nail on the cylinder walls. There is evidence of what I believe is cylinder slap or rock in the piston. This might even be able to be honed out but you would need to consult a machine shop for that.
Worst case scenario you would need to rebore it to .040 over and replace the pistons/ rings, ARP mains, and bearings. All of this including machine work should be well under $2k, maybe even under $1700. If it needs a hone you wouldn't even need new pistons.

LMK, the proof is on the above pics.....

TTT.....about to order the stuff for a rebuild. IT would be nice to have a deal done, otherwise I will have to choose my own compression ratio and such instead of someone having it to there specs. It is actually looking cheaper than planned to do the rebuid!

Thumbs up No Problems Here!

Bump for this seller! I bought a part from him, and it was as he said it was, no drama! He's straight forward, NO 'sketchy' stuff! I'd buy from him again, in a second...Best of luck Mike!
