this Evo 9 block had 40k miles on it when it was sent to machine shop for 2.3 stroker build. block was magnufluxing. the engine had 1k miles on it when it had really bad blow by. block was taken apart and the builder said the piston wall was glazed. They re-hone the block and said new piston rings would fix it. I decide to go with a new project. the crank, rods, pistons, bolts are new and has 1k miles on it.

Evo 9 block, bored 20 over, oil squirter is plugged (can be reinstalled). comes with APR main studs, front cover with oil pump(40k miles), balance shafts.

I'm worried about your belief that the year is 2016

 

Did your builder told u why your new built have bad blowby?

Did it make oil goes thru the piston oil ring and get into your chamber, causing the spark plugs to foul out?

 

Where are u located

 

builder said blow by was from glazed piston walls. engine did not foul out. was making good power even with the blow by. catch was just filling up with oil really quick.
