Bought an evo 8 ssl with rod knock, Pulled the engine and I've decided to just get good short block to swap my head onto and put back in since I have a built head in excellent shape.(GSC S2 Cams, GSC Beehive springs) I was in the process of removing my head and got to the 5th nut on my ARP headstuds and it is rounded. I haven't had any luck with anything i try and I'd hate to use a dremel on the nut, idc about the stud.. so Now I'm also interested in possibly getting a long block if i damage the head. I have a stock evo 8 turbo with the 10.5 hotside in great shape I could trade or an FP Black also in great shape Could trade along with a FP racing manifold. obviously with cash on my end. But I'm strapped for cash so I have to do what I can do.

Depending on price. Looking for built or stock shortblock that has good compression didn't/doesnt smoke.
If I get my head separated I will be willing to do partial trading on my shortblock too given that it's not too damaged.
